A Baluchistan Provincial Assembly Standing Committee on Health meeting was held, which was led by Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Kabzai. The members of the committee such as Samad Khan Gorgage, Shahida Rauf, Dr. Rababa Khan Buledi, Tahir Shah Kakar, the Secretary of the Assembly, Shahak Baloch, the Special Secretary, Health and the Special Secretary Assembly were also actively involved in the session.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing the Baluchistan Renal and Urology Research Institute Bill, which will promote specialized kidney and urology medical services throughout the province. Within the course of the session, the committee examined various provisions of the bill, pointing out areas where the bill could be improved and strategic initiatives of the new institute.
Members discussed the infrastructure needs, manpower needs, and hi-tech medical equipment to keep the facility up to the international healthcare standards. The recommendations were carefully prepared to be presented in the following session of the assembly to be discussed and passed.
