The Balochistan Investment Board and Trade has decided on Tuesday to move forward with plans for a solar panel plant in Hub at Lasbela Industrial Estate. The project aims to start local production of solar panel sheets in the province. This step is seen as vital for promoting renewable energy.
The meeting, chaired by Board Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar, reviewed the proposal in detail. Officials also discussed how to use Low BTU gas in Sui and Kalat for future energy projects. The initial report of the solar panel plant project will be submitted soon to the provincial government for approval.
Mr. Kakar said that the government is fully committed to supporting clean and sustainable energy projects through investment-friendly policies.
