Islamabad, Mar 18 2025: Nahid Rana, Rishad Hossain, and Litton Das have sought approval from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to participate in Pakistan Super League 2025.
The 10th edition of PSL scheduled to start on April 11. While Rana and Hossain have already submitted their No Objection Certificate (NOC) requests, Litton Das is expected to follow suit.
All three Bangladeshi players were picked in the 2025 draft for the franchise cricket.
Nahid Rana was selected in the Gold category by Peshawar Zalmi, while Rishad Hossain and Litton Das were placed in the Silver category by Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, respectively.
However, their participation in the T20 league remains uncertain due to Bangladesh’s upcoming Test series against Zimbabwe, which coincides with the PSL schedule.
The BCB has yet to confirm its stance on granting NOCs, and the final decision may depend on the requirements of national team.
Historically, the cricket board board has been cautious in allowing players to feature in franchise leagues if international commitments are at risk.
Nahid Rana, a rising pace talent, is expected to strengthen Peshawar Zalmi’s bowling attack, while Rishad Hossain’s leg-spin could be a valuable asset for Lahore Qalandars.
Litton Das, known for his batting consistency, is set to bring experience to Karachi Kings’ squad.
The BCB has yet to make an official statement on the applications, but the scheduling conflict could complicate matters.
With PSL teams preparing for the tournament, the players’ availability will depend on how the board prioritizes national commitments over league participation.
