Brisbane Heat has set up “Shaheen Afridi Fan Bay” in the Big Bash League, giving fans a special zone to celebrate the Pakistani pacer’s debut season at the Gabba.
Australian Big Bash League team Brisbane Heat has announced a special fan zone named “Shaheen Afridi Fan Bay” in honour of Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi. This is to celebrate his first-ever appearance in the league.
Tickets for this dedicated fan zone will be available soon. All five home matches at the Gabba Stadium, scheduled on 19 & 27 December, and 2, 10 & 18 January, will feature this special section for Shaheen’s supporters.
Brisbane Heat says “Shaheen’s Fan Bay” will be the perfect place for fans to enjoy not just the atmosphere but also exciting matches where Pakistan’s top cricketers face each other in BBL 15. With Shaheen Afridi leading the Heat’s bowling attack and stars like Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan and Babar Azam playing against him, Pakistani fans in Australia can look forward to some thrilling on-field battles.
The purpose of this fan bay is to allow Pakistani community members and cricket lovers to enjoy and celebrate Shaheen’s presence in the BBL.

Fans attending the zone will receive exclusive Shaheen-themed merchandise and have access to special match-day activities. The move also highlights how Pakistani stars are increasingly being celebrated in Australian leagues, showing Shaheen Afridi’s growing global popularity
