Islamabad, Sep 28: BYD Sealion 05 DM-i Now Available in China at PKR 4.4 Million
BYD has officially launched its latest compact SUV, the BYD Sealion 05 DM-i, equipped with a state-of-the-art 5th-generation DM plug-in hybrid system.
This innovative model is priced between 112,800 to 142,800 yuan (approximately 15,980 to 20,230 USD, or PKR 4.4 million to 5.5 million) and is available in four different variants. The Sealion 05 DM-i will be marketed under BYD’s Ocean Network, joining its sibling model, the BYD Song Pro DM-i.
The Sealion 05 DM-i features BYD’s signature “Ocean Aesthetics” design language, characterized by a wide front grille, integrated air intake, and striking dimensions that firmly place it in the mid-size SUV category.
Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen, complemented by physical buttons in the center console for easy access to various functions.
Additional features include wireless charging, multiple USB ports, and NFC smartphone key access for added convenience.
When it comes to fuel efficiency, the Sealion 05 DM-i does not disappoint. It achieves a minimum consumption of 3.79 L/100 km in low battery mode (NEDC standard) and between 4.85-4.9 L/100 km in the WLTC cycle, making it an economical choice for consumers looking to reduce their running costs while enjoying modern SUV features.
With its combination of advanced hybrid technology and stylish design, the BYD Sealion 05 DM-i is set to make a significant impact in the compact SUV market, appealing to environmentally conscious drivers who value both efficiency and aesthetics.
