Car sales in Pakistan increased by 62% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in August 2025, according to data issued by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA).

According to the data, local manufacturing companies sold 14,050 cars during August 2025, up 62% over the 8,699 cars sold during the same month of the previous year.

The car sales were also up 27 percent compared to the previous month’s (MoM) sales of 11,043 units.
During the two months of the current fiscal year, car sales rose 45% to 25,093 units compared to sales of 11,043 units in the first two months of last fiscal year.

Moreover, 2/3-wheeler sales in August 2025 rose 42% YoY and 19% MoM to 148,063 units. The 2/3-wheeler sales during 2MFY26 stood at 272,028 units, up 44% YoY compared to 189,227 units 2MFY25.
