Islamabad, Dec 14: According to recent data given by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA), car sales during the first five months of the current fiscal year 2024–25 climbed by 49.66 percent when compared to the same months of the previous year.
The data shows that up to 38,534 cars were sold in the months under evaluation, compared to 25,746 units sold in the same months the previous year. According to the breakdown, 5,434 Honda Civic and City units were sold between July and November of 2024–2025, while 3,151 units were sold during the same period in 2023–2024.
Sales of Toyota Corolla and Yaris vehicles rose from 4,725 to 8,477 units, a 79.40 percent rise over the previous year. The Suzuki Swift saw a 57.45% increase in sales this year, going from 1,852 to 2,916 units.
The Suzuki WagonR’s sales dropped to 939 units from 1,420 units last year, while the Suzuki Cultus’s sales fell to 808 units during the first five months of this year compared to 1,611 units during the same period last year.
Sales of the Suzuki Alto increased 36.90 percent from 11,306 units to 15,479 units in the current year, while sales of the Suzuki Bolan increased to 2,896 units from 853 units in the same months of the previous year.
