Islamabad, June 19, 2025: In a major leap towards a truly Cashless KP Initiative, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has successfully automated the KP Excise Department using the innovative Dastak Platform. The implementation of the Dastak Platform at the KP Excise Department, a core component of the broader FinTech strategy, has already demonstrated significant positive outcomes. Key statistics from this successful automation effort include:
- Total Revenue Collected: Rs. 940 million
- Vehicles Transferred: 19,517
- Revenue from New Registrations: Rs. 528 million
- Token Tax Collected: Rs. 347 million
