Islamabad, 13 May, 2025: Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa along with IG Police Islamabad Nasir Rizvi, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, relevant officers from Islamabad Police, attended a meeting at the CDA headquarters. The meeting discussed solutions to the increasing issues of illegal parking in the federal capital.
The district administration decided to launch an operation against illegal parking in various commercial areas and markazs.
It was decided that unauthorized vehicles would not be allowed to park in commercial zones during nighttime.

Additionally, a complete ban on unauthorized vehicles parking in commercial areas at night was imposed.
It was further decided in the meeting that only authorized residents would be allowed to park vehicles in the designated areas.
Business community and shoppers would only be permitted to park during daytime hours. It was also decided that vehicles parked illegally by unauthorized individuals would be impounded and moved to police stations.
According to the district administration, these measures were taken due to rising security concerns caused by illegal parking. Strict action will be taken against unauthorized vehicles to mitigate security risks.

The decision was made keeping in mind the convenience of residents and business owners.
Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that ensuring citizens convenience and resolving parking issues in the city remain their top priorities.
