Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board held a significant meeting at CDA Headquarters to review and approve various developmental initiatives.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Ali Randhawa, who also serves as Chief Commissioner Islamabad and DG Civil Defence.
The Board approved development work for Margalla Enclave Phase-II under a public-private partnership model in accordance with Clause 42-F of PPRA Rules.
A revised layout plan for Sector C-13 was also approved, incorporating allocations for residential and commercial apartments, parking, and public buildings.
Further approvals included regularization of land adjacent to Plot No. 29 in Sector I-8 Markaz, identification of suitable locations for graveyards for various communities.
Moreover, an action plan for repairing and operationalizing faulty waterworks, pumps, and tube wells across sectors.

The Board also gave the green light to hire consultants for the expansion of the Pakistan Museum of Natural History, establishment of a Child Protection Institute, and upgrades at the Police Academy in Sector H-11.
Uplift plans for the Diplomatic Enclave and a new shopping center were approved. Chairman Randhawa reaffirmed CDA’s commitment to resolving citizens’ issues efficiently and transforming Islamabad into a model capital.
