ISLAMABAD, April 14: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is turning up the pace on sector development across Islamabad.
In a high-level meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa at CDA headquarters, progress on multiple residential sectors was reviewed, and clear directives were issued to accelerate completion timelines.
This development-focused session wasn’t just about updates. It marked a renewed commitment to delivering infrastructure, housing, and civic amenities across several long-awaited CDA sectors.
Park Enclave Progresses with Fresh Momentum
Significant milestones were highlighted in Park Enclave Phases I, II, and III.
Road infrastructure in Park Enclave I has been completed, and possession has already been handed over to all allottees.
The Chairman instructed the Environment Wing to begin landscaping and tree plantations while identifying a space for a park.
He also emphasized that commercial areas in Park Enclave must be developed without delay. In a forward-thinking move, Chairman Randhawa directed the use of drone surveillance for real-time monitoring of progress, while instructing teams to keep the CDA website and sector-specific social media pages regularly updated.
Park Enclave II and III: Final Push for Completion
With over 75% of plot possession completed in Park Enclave Phase II, the Chairman stressed the urgency of handing over possession to the remaining owners.
He directed the Finance and Estate Wings to resolve all Built-Up Property (BuP) issues and begin action against illegal encroachments.

In Phase III, civil work is nearly finished, and electrical installations are expected to be completed within two months.
Tenders for streetlights and poles will soon be floated. Additionally, the construction of boundary walls and the provision of basic utilities have been prioritized.
Sector C-14: From Roads to Solar Lighting
In Sector C-14, road base work is done, and funds have been released for the remaining tasks.
IESCO demand notes for electricity supply are in motion.
Development here includes lighting, sewerage, curb stones, drainage, and more. The Chairman directed the use of modern solar-powered streetlights, reaffirming his focus on smart, sustainable solutions.
Sector C-16: Infrastructure on the Move
Work in Sector C-16 is progressing rapidly, with culvert and road work underway. However, delays due to Built-Up Property conflicts remain.
The Chairman urged immediate resolution of all pending BuP matters, instructing both the Estate and Planning Wings to expedite their efforts.
Sector E-12: Clearing the Path Forward
In Sector E-12, long delayed development efforts are finally gaining traction. Chairman Randhawa ordered the removal of encroachments, the resolution of bottlenecks, and the rapid installation of signage boards and essential amenities.
Tree plantations and landscaping were also directed to give the area an environmentally friendly facelift.

Sector I-12: Nearing the Finish Line
Most infrastructure work in Sector I-12 is complete. The Chairman called for efficient waste management and garbage disposal mechanisms, ensuring residents benefit from a cleaner, healthier living space.
A Unified Vision for Islamabad’s Future
Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa ended the meeting with a firm commitment: All CDA sectors under development will be completed without delay.
He instructed that possession in completed sectors be handed over immediately following the payment of development charges.
The emphasis is clear—no effort will be spared, and every resource available will be mobilized to ensure that Islamabad’s housing sectors move forward, meet expectations, and serve the public efficiently.
