Islamabad, Sep 18: The Capital Development and Authority (CDA) Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa presided over a meeting to discuss the transfer of PWD offices to CDA and the timely building of the Islamabad Model Jail.
According to specifics, talks centered on making sure that the Islamabad Model Jail project moved seamlessly from the Public Works Department (PWD) to CDA. The intention was to name CDA as the main agency responsible for carrying out the project after consulting with the Ministries of Interior and Planning, Development, and Initiatives.
Chairman Randhawa emphasized that in order to guarantee continuous progress, the PWD and CDA must collaborate closely until the transition is totally finished. He emphasized how crucial effective collaboration is to preventing delays and maintaining the project’s momentum.
The current state of the jail’s construction, including both finished and ongoing work, was revealed at the briefing. Randhawa emphasized how crucial it is to complete Phase I of the project before the deadline.
During this phase, major infrastructure projects such the administration block, roadways, watchtowers, barracks, and perimeter wall are built. In order to keep the project moving forward, the CDA Chairman emphasized the significance of meeting deadlines and gave all concerned parties the go-ahead to prioritize finishing these essential parts.
