Islamabad 10 August: The Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) has integrated the RAAST instant payment system with Munir Khanani Securities Limited, enabling real-time fund transfers for investors.
The initiative allows clients to transfer money directly from their bank accounts to their securities accounts without delays, streamlining settlement and trading processes.
According to CDC, the move is part of its ongoing efforts to digitise Pakistan’s capital market infrastructure, improve transaction efficiency, and enhance investor convenience.
RAAST, developed by the State Bank of Pakistan, facilitates secure, low-cost, and instant digital payments. CDC said the integration with Munir Khanani Securities marks another step in expanding the system’s adoption in the capital market sector.

Officials noted that similar integrations with other brokerage houses are planned in the near future to promote wider use of instant payments in securities trading.
