Retail cement prices in the country’s major cities reflected mixed movements during the week ending September 11, 2025, according to data compiled by Arif Habib Limited.
In Islamabad, cement was priced at Rs. 1,367 per bag, unchanged from the previous week. However, on a year-on-year basis, prices were down 9% compared to Rs. 1,503 last year.
In Lahore, rates stood at Rs. 1,443 per bag, showing a marginal week-on-week increase of 0.2%. Despite the slight gain, prices were still lower by 5.6% compared to the same period in 2024, when cement was selling at Rs. 1,530 per bag.

In contrast, Karachi saw cement prices steady at Rs. 1,367 per bag, with no week-on-week change. On an annual basis, however, the city recorded a modest increase of 2% from Rs. 1,340 last year.
