Social media celebrity Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who is renowned for his bizarre and frequently embarrassing musical performances, has received a lawsuit seeking damages of Rs. 180 million. Chahat is accused of slandering the renowned musician Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the notice, which was sent out by Mian Muhammad Umair Niaz on behalf of Qaiser Munir Khan.
The letter accuses Chahat of insulting the people of Faisalabad, breaking the Copyright Act, and destroying the honorable name of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. It was sent to Chahat’s UK house.
