Islamabad: April 28, 202): Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has said that the development and prosperity, beautification and to address citizens problems of Islamabad, along with sector development, are the top priorities of CDA, and all available resources are being utilized to achieve these goals.
He emphasized that CDA is fully committed to transforming Islamabad into a modern, digitized, tourist-friendly, and environment friendly capital while addressing the residential needs of the public.
Efforts are underway to improve sector development infrastructure development, beautification, and the provision of educational and recreational facilities to resolve citizens’ issues at their doorstep.

Chairman CDA shared these remarks during a surprise visit to Sector I-12 along with Member Administration, Member Finance, Member Planning, Member Environment, Member IT, Member Estate, Director General (DG) Enforcement, DG Works, DG Environment, DG Sanitation, Project Director Sector I-12, senior officers of the Islamabad Administration, and other CDA officers.
During the visit, CDA Chairman personally inspected ongoing development activities in Sector I-12 where he was briefed about the development work.
He directed all concerned to expedite the pace of work as per project timeline.
He stressed the immediate removal of all illegal constructions, encroachments, and remaining waste from Sector I-12 in order to ensure timely completion of development projects.
He highlighted that Sector I-12, located at the junction of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, holds importance as a gateway for residents of twin cities.
Chairman CDA further instructed that all obstacles hindering the development work in Sector I-12 be resolved on a priority basis to facilitate smooth progress and development of the sector.
