Islamabad, 1 May, 2025: Changan Gets Two International Awards, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan’s automotive industry.
Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML), a collaboration between Pakistan’s Master Group and China’s Changan Automobile, has received international recognition at the 2025 Changan Global Partner Conference.
The company was honoured with two prestigious accolades: the Marketing Achievement Award and the highly regarded Panda Award.

These honours were granted in acknowledgment of MCML’s strong brand-building efforts and its major role in Changan’s global expansion strategy, known as the Vast Ocean Plan.
The Marketing Achievement Award was awarded for MCML’s impactful campaigns that helped position Changan and its electric sub-brand, Deepal, among the most trusted names in Pakistan.
From digital-first product launches to immersive consumer events, the company’s marketing initiatives have successfully connected with audiences and elevated brand perception.
Ali Asghar Damani, the Chief Operating Officer of MCML, accepted the marketing award on behalf of the team.
He remarked that this recognition highlighted the creativity, dedication, and teamwork across the company’s entire retail and marketing network.
He also stated that the brand’s progress reflected a shared commitment to reshape customer perceptions through innovation and meaningful engagement.
The highlight of the event was the Panda Award, presented to MCML CEO Danial Malik for the company’s outstanding contributions to Changan’s international sales and strategy.
Under Malik’s leadership, the company has emerged as the leading Chinese car brand in Pakistan and ranked fourth among all auto brands in the country.
Its success in driving sales volumes placed Pakistan among Changan’s top-performing global markets.
Malik stated that the awards symbolised not just business success but also the deep trust Pakistani consumers have placed in the brand.
He credited the achievement to MCML’s dealer partners, workforce, and the broader team, adding that the company remained focused on innovation and growth both locally and globally.
Changan Gets Two International Awards during a historic showing at the Shanghai Auto Show 2025, where Master Changan Motors led the largest international delegation over 50 members from Pakistan, including key leadership and more than 30 dealership partners.
