Islamabad, Aug 16, 2025: Criminals can misuse SIMs registered in your name by obtaining them illegally through stolen identity information. Such SIMs may later be used for fraud, scams or even terrorism-related activities.
To avoid becoming a victim of these crimes, you must have to immediately check how many SIMs are active under your CNIC and block any unnecessary ones.
To verify the number of SIMs:
- Visit cnic.sims.pk, enter your National Identity Card number and click submit to view details.
- Or send your CNIC number via SMS to 668 from your mobile phone.
If you find SIMs registered in your name that you do not use, call the helpline of the relevant company and have it blocked after providing your details.
