The Chenab floods have provoked deep concerns at Khanki Headworks where the water flow has surpassed one million cusecs as per NDMA sources. The headworks which were initially designed to handle 800,000 cusecs is experiencing very high pressure and this poses a great threat towards its hydraulic structure.
