The new curriculum for Class 10 (session 2026-2027) has been finalized, but due to concerns over possible errors, Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTA) has engaged education experts to review the textbooks.
These experts have already begun reviewing the revised curriculum for the upcoming academic year.
Once the review of the new Class 10 textbooks is complete, they will be sent to publishers for printing. The review process is expected to be finalized by the end of this month.

Every year, approximately 1 million candidates appear for the matriculation exams.
