Islamabad, Aug 26: The deadline for online Class XI admissions has been extended by the Sindh Department of College Education to August 31, 2024.
For first-year intermediate students across the province, this extension provides one more opportunity to finish their admissions applications. Given the extensive delays to internet service that the students have experienced, the College Education Department made the decision to extend the deadline.
September 2, 2024, is when college intermediate classes are scheduled to begin. Additionally, the department has mandated that all Karachi college principals promptly fill the SECCAP site with faculty member absence data.
Principals have also been directed to furnish information regarding prior enrollments in their respective faculties. The provincial government made the decision last week to decrease the minimum score needed for admission to government colleges’ first-year intermediate programs.
The Director General of Colleges, Dr. Naveed, declared that various colleges will be reducing their cutoff marks by 20 to 50 points.
According to him, six complaint centers have been set up to handle the influx of complaints, and a number of universities have expanded their admissions capacity.
The Government College for Boys in Nazimabad, Government Degree Boys College in Gulistan-e-Johar, Government Girls College in Liaquatabad, Sir Syed College, and Khurshid Girls College are the locations of the centers.
