Islamabad, Sep 21: Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, has underlined how crucial a lasting peace is to Pakistan’s progress. The CM emphasized in her speech on Saturday, International Day of Peace, the importance of long-term stability in promoting social cohesion, economic development, and overall national advancement. The Chief Minister emphasized that “peace is a great blessing, while unrest leads to decline.”
CM Maryam Nawaz gave the martyrs a heartfelt homage, recognizing that the sacrifices made in order to bring about peace will never be forgotten. “Their sacrifices for maintaining peace are unforgettable,” the speaker said, praising the efforts of security personnel, which include the police and military.
The chief minister praised individuals who work to resolve disputes and acknowledged the efforts of peace activists. She said, “From peace, prosperity blooms, happiness permeates all.” Declaring that “those who choose the path of violence and chaos are enemies of Pakistan’s peace and stability,” she asked every member of society to do their share in bringing about peace.
It is unacceptable to undermine peace under the pretense of having different viewpoints.
The Chief Minister prayed for perpetual peace and prosperity throughout Pakistan. She also stated that everyone want to see peace in Palestine, Kashmir, and other parts of the world.
