Islamabad, Dec 2: Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, presided over Monday’s 45th meeting of the R&D Fund Policy Committee. The Committee gave its approval to Ignite Company’s budget release of Rs. 599.29 million for the second quarter of FY 2024–2025.
The meeting was also attended by Special Secretary Azfar Manzoor of the IT & Telecom Division and Secretary Zarrar Hasham Khan. Ignite administration was instructed by Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, to maintain short-term Ignite initiatives in order to ensure that they are finished within the allotted time. According to her, every project needs a schedule in order to be finished on time.
Additionally, Ignite management was instructed by Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima to host an e-sports championship featuring locally created games. The chair was previously informed by Ignite officials on the organization’s current and upcoming programs. The minutes of the R&D Fund Policy Committee’s 44th meeting were also approved at the meeting.
