Islamabad, Oct 22: Conference on the Role of Technology in Education Assessment Kicks Off Tomorrow. The 2nd Annual Conference of the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) is scheduled for October 23–24, 2024, at Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad.
The conference’s topic, “Building a Brighter Future: The Role of Technology in Education Assessment,” will center on how technology may revolutionize educational evaluation systems both domestically and abroad. Education professionals, legislators, and tech specialists will gather for the two-day conference to talk about important topics pertaining to the use of digital tools in assessment procedures, according to IBCC.
The purpose of the event is to encourage creative solutions that can improve Technology in educational assessments’ efficiency, fairness, and transparency. As the Chief Guest, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
Panel talks on the role of technology in examination systems, including obstacles and options for implementing digital assessment methods, will be held on the first day of the conference. Workshops on capacity building will also be held to offer useful advice on putting digital solutions into practice and developing frameworks for standardized assessments.
With additional panel discussions and interactive workshops on the second day, participants will be able to learn more about how technology is affecting education and consider ways to update assessment methods in all of Pakistan’s educational institutions.
