A Facebook user going by the handle Zahir Mehmood, who describes himself as a journalist, posted the screenshots on his social networking page.
In his post, Mr. Mehmood said that the writer and his female friend—whose name was withheld by the user—were the subjects of the acknowledged conversation.
He went on to say that the occurrence, which was seen in the image, happened on August 13, 2022, in his presence at a celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
The social media user said that Mehmood’s buddy had welcomed Qamar with a song at the occasion, and that the writer of Meray Paas Tum Ho had been invited as a major guest.
“Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar spoke on the subject of treating mothers and daughters with respect and how to handle harassment at work… Upon his departure from the event, my co-host instructed me to snap a photo with him. His tweet stated, “I had no desire [to pose with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar] if I couldn’t resist her request.”
“Khalil Sahab began complimenting my friend and grabbed her phone number, which my friend gleefully gave him,” he said.
“When I came back after announcing the next performance, my co-host showed me these two screenshots, containing a discussion between Khalil sir and my friend.”
According to the screenshots, Qamar starts a romantic chat with the host after complimenting her on the song.
Qamar allegedly promised the presenter that he would help her perfect her vocals throughout their chat.
Mehmood said that “If I fail [to prove my stance], file a defamation case against me.” He said he could provide proof of the screenshot’s validity if necessary.
But in regard to the purportedly leaked communication, Mr. Qamar has not replied or released a statement.
Just one day after the case of the London Nahi Jaunga writer’s kidnapping because of a purported honey trap came to light, there was a fresh issue surrounding him.
Subsequently, Amina Urooj, a lady, set up a honey trap, and Mr. Qamar was kidnapped and robbed, according to Lahore police.
According to the information given by the writer in the FIR, Qamar got a call from Amina Urooj, who asked him to come to her home in Bahria Town so they could talk about a theater project.
“I was sitting with the woman when someone knocked on the door, and she told me it might be a delivery boy as she had ordered some food,” Qamar said in his complaint.
He revealed that after that, seven armed men barged into the room and had him give up everything, including his cell phone and car keys.
The suspects forced Qamar to reveal his PIN, and then they took out Rs 267,000 from the ATM. After that, he was thrown into a car, tormented mentally and physically, and left in a desolate area.
