Islamabad, Aug 23: Cristiano Ronaldo, the 39-year-old soccer legend, has launched his YouTube channel, and it has already attracted over a million subscribers within the first 90 minutes.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who has played for Portugal for more than 20 years and is presently a player for the Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, announced the launch of his channel on social media and urged followers to “Subscribe and join me on this new journey.”
“The time of waiting is past. At last, my @YouTube channel is live! Subscribe and come along on this exciting new journey with me,” Ronaldo wrote on social media on Wednesday.
In a matter of hours following the release of his debut video, Ronaldo’s “UR” channel amassed 1.69 million subscribers. Ronaldo will talk about his love of soccer on the channel along with family, health, diet, getting ready for a game, getting better, school, and business. It will also involve talks with different visitors.
Ronaldo remarked, “I’m thrilled to see this project through to completion.” “I’ve had this idea for a while, and now is the perfect time to bring it to fruition. I’ve always loved forming close bonds with my followers on social media, and my YouTube channel will provide me with an even larger platform to do so while also educating them about my background, family, and opinions on a wide range of topics. In addition, I am excited to have discussions with visitors that will undoubtedly surprise them!
With 917 million followers across all social media platforms, Ronaldo is the most followed person on the planet. He has 112.5 million X, 170 million Facebook, and 636 million Instagram followers. Even though MrBeast presently has 311 million subscribers, he is not the most followed person on YouTube.
However, he did set a record when his channel became the fastest to reach one million subscribers, which he now owns.
Ronaldo’s latest digital endeavor is gaining traction as he gets ready for Al Nassr’s Saudi Pro League debut against Al-Raed on Thursday.
