Islamabad, Aug 11, 2025: As Daniel Radcliffe has reminded everyone, he will not be in Harry Potter television series on HBO Max. The adored actor, who performed the role of the beloved wizard during ten years, sounded enthusiastic about the future of the franchise, but does not find the necessity of his participation.
“I’m thrilled to see the torch being carried forward, but I don’t believe I have to personally hand it over,” Radcliffe shared in a recent interview. The upcoming series already inspired massive excitement among the fans as it is set to envision the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling through a new cast and the longer storytelling format of episodic nature.
Producers guarantee a more loyal adaptation of the books, plunging into the plotline and the character development that was absent in the original movies. In recent years Radcliffe has been concentrating on an array of acting tasks, purposefully trying to forget his role, that brought him to fame.

This does not mean that he does not support the Harry Potter legacy but the new tread of actors should be allowed to become the series altogether without the influence of something that had gone before.
It will be necessary to say goodbye to Radcliffe as well as to his cameo as fans of the movie versions of the books will have to get ready to see Hogwarts in a brand new light. Nevertheless, the Harry Potter magic has not disappeared yet and is still willing to entertain a new generation of audiences.
