Islamabad, 12 May, 2025: Ishaq Dar,Saudi Arabia have pledged to deepen their close diplomatic and economic partnership, following high-level talks held in Islamabad on Monday.
The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malkiy, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar to review the current status of bilateral cooperation and explore avenues for expanding ties across various sectors.
According to a statement released by the Foreign Office, both sides reaffirmed their shared resolve to enhance the already strong and brotherly relationship that exists between the two nations.

The discussions covered a comprehensive range of mutual interests, including political coordination, trade, investment, energy collaboration, and regional developments.
Officials familiar with the meeting indicated that the exchange reflected the mutual trust and enduring friendship that characterise Islamabad-Riyadh relations.
Senator Dar reportedly highlighted Pakistan’s appreciation for the Kingdom’s continued support in areas such as economic assistance, infrastructure development, and the welfare of Pakistani expatriates working in Saudi Arabia.
Ambassador Al-Malkiy, on behalf of the Saudi leadership, is understood to have conveyed Riyadh’s interest in building upon the existing cooperation frameworks, especially in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 economic diversification goals.
He also acknowledged Pakistan’s role as a key regional partner in promoting stability and fostering economic connectivity.
The meeting comes at a time when both countries are actively engaged in enhancing strategic partnerships, particularly through joint investment ventures and high-level diplomatic exchanges.
