Islamabad, 7 May, 2025: The Defence Ministry, Government of Pakistan, has announced the recruitment of 700 teaching professionals across the country under the Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments/Garrisons) Directorate, based in Rawalpindi. This is Contract-Based Jobs Announced.
These roles are offered on a one-year contract, with the potential for extension depending on institutional requirements.
Positions and Regional Distribution
A total of 300 Secondary School Teacher (SST – BS-17) and 400 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT – BS-16) positions are open to both male and female applicants.

These vacancies are distributed based on regional quotas, with Punjab receiving 50% of the total posts, followed by allocations for Sindh (rural and urban), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and former FATA areas.
Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
For SST roles, candidates must hold a second-class Master’s degree (16 years of education) along with a B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification from an HEC-recognised institution.
Those applying for TGT positions require a bachelor’s degree (14 years) in the relevant subject, also certified by HEC.

Applicants may apply for subject-specific TGT positions in English, Urdu, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with detailed quotas already established.
Age and Relaxation Rules
The age requirement for SST is 22–30 years, and for TGT it is 20–28 years, with an additional five-year general age relaxation applicable.
Candidates from marginalised groups, government employees, and dependents of deceased civil servants are eligible for further concessions under specific categories.

Application and Selection Process
Candidates must submit applications online only via induction2025.fgei-cgp.edu.pk. Hard copies will not be accepted. The selection process includes a written examination followed by interviews for shortlisted applicants.
Posting and Final Remarks
Selected teachers may be deployed anywhere across Pakistan. The Ministry has encouraged interested individuals to ensure all documents are complete before applying, as incomplete or late submissions will be rejected.
