Islamabd Aug 16: As announced on their official Facebook handle on August 16, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur has formally launched their Monsoon Plantation Drive 2024, with the goal of planting 50,000 trees this season.
According to specifics, the event was held in their main office on Jinnah Avenue and was attended by more than 1,500 people from a variety of backgrounds, including government leaders, educators, realtors, business partners, and local citizens. The drive is a major step towards environmental sustainability, with its diverse range of plant species, including fruit orchards, date palms, and shade trees. The DHA Bahawalpur Project Secretary, Brig Ashar Mehboob (Retd), presided over the inauguration and thanked everyone for their dedication to improving environmental health.
In addition to increasing the amount of greenery in the area, the planting drive encourages teamwork in the pursuit of a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of life.
