Islamabad, Oct 16: Diesel Price Hike Sees Rs5 Increase, Petrol Stays Unchanged
For the next two weeks, the federal government has raised Diesel Price Hike while maintaining the same price for gasoline.
While the cost of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs. 5 per liter to Rs. 251.29, the price of gasoline will stay at Rs. 247.03 per liter. The revised rates will take effect on October 16.
The Finance Ministry issued a brief statement in which it stated that the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had altered the rates in response to fluctuations in the worldwide market.
The price of gasoline was decreased by Rs. 2.07 per liter to Rs. 247.03 at the most recent fortnightly review of petroleum pricing, while the price of high-speed diesel was dropped by Rs. 3.40 per liter to Rs. 246.29.
