Islamabad, Oct 29: Digital Land Ownership in KP, CM Launches Jaidad Card for Citizens. Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, the Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has implemented the Electronic Jaidad Card as a revolutionary move in the province’s continuing land record reforms.
According to specifics, this creative project seeks to give citizens a simplified, technologically advanced way to manage property information by facilitating safe, convenient access to land records. The Jaidad Card, which will be introduced first in the combined districts of KP.
Would serve as an electronic passbook that enables users to rapidly access their land records by using a smartphone to scan a QR code on the card. The Jaidad Card will increase openness and confidence in property ownership documentation by protecting land records from manipulation and tampering in addition to providing easy digital access.
During a Board of Revenue meeting at the CM Secretariat, which was presided over by the Chief Minister and attended by important provincial figures such as Revenue Minister Nazir Abbasi and Senior Member of the Board of Revenue Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah, the decision was made. CM Gandapur briefed the participants, highlighting how the Jaidad Card will help the province government streamline land administration and facilitate individuals’ access to records and property ownership.
A thorough record of each property owner’s land holdings across districts will also be included on the Jaidad Card, and a mobile app will be made available for simple verification. With its roots in information and communication technology (ICT), this reform seeks to improve transparency and facilitate the resolution of property disputes. In order to ensure that citizens immediately benefit from this sophisticated system, the Chief Minister instructed all pertinent institutions to hasten the formal launch.
