Through the latest initiative, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has simplified and digitized the process of obtaining the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), widely known as the B-Form the first essential identification for a child within the country’s official database.
Online B-Form Registration ensures that parents can now initiate the documentation process right from their homes.

Who Can Apply and What’s Needed?
To successfully apply for a B-Form, applicants are required to submit:
- A valid birth certificate issued by the Union Council, regardless of whether the birth occurred domestically or overseas.
- At least one parent’s valid CNIC or NICOP to establish parental identity and eligibility.
How to Register Through the Pak ID Mobile App?
The NADRA-powered Pak ID Mobile App has made it incredibly easy to register children aged up to one year online. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown:
- Sign in or register on the Pak ID Mobile App.
- Go to “Issuance of Identity Document” and select “Child Registration Certificate (CRC)”.
- Enter the 13-digit CNIC of a parent to proceed.
- Confirm pre-entered information and choose your desired processing speed.
- Upload a recent photo of the child and provide a digital signature.
- Input child’s name, date of birth, and other details.
- Attach required supporting documents.
- Provide biometric verification i.e., fingerprints of one parent.
- Submit the complete application after reviewing all entries.
For children over one year of age, in-person application at a nearby NADRA office is still required to ensure proper biometric capture and verification.

The cost structure for CRC issuance remains affordable:
- Standard Processing Fee: Rs. 50
- Executive Service Option: Rs. 500 (ideal for urgent requests, ensuring faster processing and delivery within days)
