Islamabad, Jan 6: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has announced a new housing initiative to build over 3,000 residential units in Dubai. With an investment of AED 5.4 billion (approximately $1.47 billion), the project aims to improve the quality of life for Emirati families, particularly young couples.
This initiative is a key part of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Program, which focuses on family stability and community welfare. Priority for housing will be given to participants in the Dubai Weddings Initiative, a program designed to encourage Emirati youth to marry and settle down. The housing projects are designed to provide high-quality homes that meet the needs of young couples starting their new lives together.
“Our vision is to ensure that every Emirati family has access to dignified housing, fostering an environment where young people can build stable and prosperous futures,” Sheikh Mohammed remarked. He also emphasized his and the leadership’s commitment to supporting the prosperity and well-being of UAE citizens.
