Islamabad, Oct 7: Dubai to Introduce Special Passports for All Newborns. Every newborn in Dubai will now receive a “Learner’s Passport,” which will allow parents to monitor their child’s academic progress and make educated decisions about their education. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) made this announcement on Wednesday at the “Education Strategy 2033” launch. The Khaleej Times published an article about this program, which was created in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority.
According to KHDA Director-General Aisha Miran, the Learner’s Passport is intended to guarantee every child’s right to an education. In order to guarantee that no kid is denied an education, it will register children who are of compulsory school age, keep track of their school enrollment, and act quickly if a child is not registered.
“Children will be entered into the system from birth, providing clear information on the educational stages available, including local nurseries,” Miran went on to say. She added that Emirati children’s enrollment in early childhood centers is lower than the worldwide norm, which has a detrimental impact on their growth and academic performance. Noting that a child’s brain develops ninety percent of the time between birth and age five, she emphasized the significance of this time for future academic success.
In order to assist parents in making educated decisions regarding their children’s education, the Learner’s Passport will also furnish them with extensive information regarding educational options.
