The modern e-challan system was inaugurated today in Karachi, Sindh, aiming to automatically record traffic violations through advanced cameras.
Speaking at the ceremony in Karachi, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that everyone, including rickshaws, cars, and motorcycles, has been violating traffic laws, and this initiative marks an important step towards digital transparency and modernization in the province.
He emphasized that governance today must be smart, effective, and accountable, adding that Sindh once again proudly leads the way.
The chief minister noted that the new system will eliminate human intervention and bias, ensuring better service and protection for citizens.

Under the project, the number of cameras will be increased to 12,000, and the system will be gradually expanded across Sindh. Track centers have also been established to guide and facilitate the public.
