KARACHI: An earthquake jolted the city of lights on Sunday evening. According to initial statement by National Tsunami Center Director, Karachi’s earthquake magnitude was recorded at 3.6 on the Richter scale.

The depth of the earthquake was 10 km, the seismological center said, adding that the epicenter of the quake was near Quaidabad.

As per initial reports, no loss of life or property was reported. However, eye witnesses report that the tremor was intense enough to cause widespread panic among the residents of Karachi.
