Islamabad 29 July: Ms. Sania Ashiq Jabeen, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Special Education Punjab, emphasised the government’s unwavering commitment to inclusive education during the signing of a landmark partnership between the Punjab Special Education Department (SpED) and the British Council.

“Education is not a privilege—it is the right of every child,” she declared. “Our leader’s vision is clear: disability does not mean inability. We are determined to translate this belief into action by ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all.”

The collaboration aims to enhance leadership and teaching standards in Punjab’s special education institutions, benefiting over 1,000 educators and, ultimately, students with diverse needs. Ms. Jabeen’s remarks underscored Punjab’s drive to dismantle barriers and foster an inclusive society where every child can thrive.

The initiative aligns with the provincial government’s broader reforms in special education, reflecting its motto: “No child left behind.”
