Islamabad, Sep8: Education, according to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Sunday, is essential to the growth and prosperity of a country. He emphasized in his speech on International Literacy Day that Pakistan’s Parliament has made strides in encouraging literacy throughout the nation.
He stated that the government is mandated by the Constitution to give free education to children between the ages of five and sixteen. The Speaker reiterated that the nation’s literacy rate is being raised by the current administration, emphasizing the importance of literacy growth for both social and economic advancement. “An educated nation is the key to a prosperous future,” he declared.
He urged the younger generation to get an education since it is essential to the development and prosperity of the country and urged all stakeholders to work together to promote literacy.
