ISLAMABAD: A letter circulating on social media says that the Federal Government has announced Eid-ul-Adha holidays, from June 6-10, 2025 (Friday to Tuesday).

However, Bloom Pakistan has confirmed that the said letter is fake, and the government is yet to announce the holidays.

NATION AWAITS WITH BAITED BREATH

Zilhajj moon was sighted in Pakistan on Wednesday, which translated into Eid-ul-Adha 2025 set to be celebrated on June 7.

Initially, according to the public holiday calendar for 2025, three holidays for Eid-ul-Adha are falling on June 7-9. However, the official announcement is yet to be made. Things are made more complicated with the government’s announcement that the Federal Budget 2025-26 will be presented on June 10, 2025.
