Islamabad, 15 May, 2025: The Lahore district administration on Thursday demolish four unauthorized buildings during an anti-encroachment operation in in Lahore’s Shalimar Zone.

Four illegal structures were demolished in Wagah zone as well.

The operation was led by Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza as part of the district administration’s broader efforts to rid the city of illegal constructions.

Chief Officer Shahid Abbas Kathia supervised the Planning Wing ongoing actions, and further vowed to take strict measures against any violators.

“No leniency will be shown to those breaching the rules,” stated Chief Officer Shahid Abbas, adding that the operation will continue until the last unlawful structure is brought down.

Reaffirming the administration’s stance, Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza said, “No one is above the law. The operation will be conducted transparently.”

He further emphasized, “Our top priority is to make Lahore free of illegal constructions. Every possible step will be taken to ensure the law is upheld.”
