Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is preparing to launch a brand-new Electric Bus Service in Punjab on September 15, starting from Mianwali. Officials are calling this project a major milestone in modernizing transport for districts that have long been deprived of reliable public commuting options.

The Punjab Transport Company will manage the service, introducing the modern “Electro Green Buses” on multiple routes, including Daud Khel, Bin Hafiz Ji, and Wan Bhachran. This move is designed to provide cost-effective, eco-friendly, and comfortable public transport for residents who previously had very limited facilities.
