The Prime Minister (PM) Laptop Loan Scheme 2025 has been launched by the Government of Pakistan to help students, freelancers, and young professionals buy laptops on easy, interest-free installments.
Under the program, applicants can choose from three loan categories:
- Basic: PKR 150,000
- Medium: PKR 300,000
- Advanced: PKR 450,000
The loans can be paid back through small monthly installments spread over several years, making it easier for young people to own laptops without financial burden.
Eligibility
The scheme is open to Pakistani citizens between 18 and 35 years of age. Eligible groups include university students, freelancers, and young professionals, with special priority given to low-income families. However, government employees are not included in this program.
Required Documents
Applicants need to submit:
- CNIC copy (front and back)
- Passport-size photograph
- Proof of income (salary slip or guardian’s statement)
- Educational documents or proof of admission
- Freelancers can share online work profiles such as Fiverr or Upwork.

Application Process
The entire application procedure will be conducted online through the official PM Youth Program portal, making it accessible nationwide.
