Islamabad, 22 May, 2025: Emirates has announced a major boost to its operations for this year’s Hajj season, with 33 special flights to Jeddah and Medina to accommodate the thousands of pilgrims traveling for their once-in-a-lifetime journey to the holy city of Mecca. These fligthts will operate until 31 May and between 10 and 16 June due to peak travel demands.

In addition to the Hajj flights, Emirates will also operate 13 more flights to and from regional destinations including Amman, Dammam, Kuwait and Bahrain. These additional services are aimed to ease travellers for Eid Al Adha period, as many people visit family or venture to summer leisure destinations.

Over the next three weeks, Emirates is expected to transport nearly 32,000 Hajj pilgrims to key points across its global network like USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Côte d’Ivoire.

To make the Hajj experience smoother, all special Hajj flights offer a customised services, including ablution-friendly amenities, unperfumed towels, special announcements marking Al Miqat zones. Pilgrims will also have access to dedicated Hajj programming through Emirates’ in-flight entertainment system.

All passengers returning from Jeddah and Medinah can also check in up to 5 litres of Zamzam water, which will be placed in the aircraft’s designated cargo area.

The airline’s enhanced operations are part of a wider strategy to support religious travel and ensure comfort and convenience for Muslim passengers during the Hajj season and Eid holidays.
