Islamabad, Sep 10: Economic improvement and problem solving, industrial policies must be put into practice, which calls for regionalization and the encouragement of vocational education.Economic analyst Zeeshan Hashim presented his opinions at the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) during a session titled “Changing Global Trading System and Future of Pakistan’s Economy.”
He suggested that Pakistan should improve its trading ties with all of its neighbors. “International trade has been negatively influenced by globalization, which has increased unemployment globally and harmed Pakistan as well. He continued, “We must address economic difficulties, take action to develop our economy, and avoid the dangers of globalization warfare.
Mr. Zeeshan noted that Pakistan’s political and economic problems make it difficult to develop sensible policies that can be implemented. It is important to set rules and guidelines that facilitate the transfer from one industry to another.
Since boosting exports cannot be achieved without expanding imports, import limits should not be put in place, the expert stated. Moreover, actions must be taken to strengthen peace and order, create an economic model, attract investment, and set low tax rates.”We need to safeguard important industries and transition to a growth model. The elites need to take the lead on this project rather than the general population, he said, with constant communication and demands coming from the government.
Khwaja Muhammad Hussain, the convenor of the Government Liaison Sub-Committee and former president of the MCCC, congratulated Zeeshan Hashim for the educational session and gave him the chamber’s insignia. Ahmad Raza, Muzaffar Khakwani, Major Rabnawaz, Iqbal Hussain, Kamran Gilani, Waqas Qazi, Choudhry Tariq Karim, Jamshed Rizwani, Sajid Ansari, and other individuals were also present in the seminar.
