The European Union has announced emergency aid worth nearly Rs. 350 million (€1.05 million) to help victims of the devastating floods across Pakistan.

The support will be delivered through humanitarian partners and will provide life-saving health services, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities, along with cash assistance for families in need.

The EU said the aid aims to prevent the spread of disease and ensure vulnerable households can meet their basic needs. The announcement comes as Pakistan faces its worst monsoon season in decades, which has already claimed more than 800 lives and displaced nearly 250,000 people.
