Islamabad, JULY23: Potential customers are showing interest in the Deepal electric automobiles that Master Changan Motors plans to introduce in Pakistan due to its anticipated pricing. It is projected that the Deepal S07 SUV would cost approximately Rs. 16,500,000, and the Deepal L07 Sedan will cost approximately Rs. 15,500,000. ProPakistani was informed of these costs from a nearby dealership.

These cars are currently available for hire, with a 3,000,000 rupee booking fee. October of this year is when deliveries are anticipated to start. Leaks also suggest that additional showrooms will be opened to sell these cars. New showrooms are planned to improve their market presence even if they are a part of Changan.

Recently, Deepal S07 SUV and L07 Sedan were observed being tested at Changan Autos dealerships. There may be ongoing road testing because a lime yellow Deepal S07 SUV was spotted in Karachi close to the Master Changan Motors Limited facility.
Car aficionados’ curiosity has grown as a result of these sightings, suggesting that Master Changan Motors Limited’s Deepal electric vehicles (EVs) will soon be introduced.
Features of Deepal S07 and Deepal L07
Changan’s EV-first brand Deepal is a joint venture with CATL and Huawei. Both versions of the cars have 250 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. They are equipped with Huawei’s Harmony OS 4 and a 68kWh battery from CATL, which together promise a range of more than 530 kilometers on a single charge.
The Deepal L07 Sedan is a mid-sized car with dimensions of 4820 mm x 1890 mm x 1480 mm with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. It has 150 mm of ground clearance and R19 wheels. The dimensions of the Deepal S07 SUV are 1625 mm in height, 1930 mm in width, and 4750 mm in length, with 20-inch wheels and a same wheelbase, providing 165 mm of ground clearance.
Although Master Changan Motors Limited has not yet confirmed the date of release, it is anticipated that the formal launch will take place in the upcoming two to three months.
