In recent days, a claim rapidly circulated on social media suggesting that the phrase inscribed on the back of Pakistani currency notes had been removed.
Users on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube repeated the allegation, asserting that the words once appeared on the back of the notes but had now been taken off.
However, the claim has proven to be false. According to an official from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), as well as checks on the SBP’s official website and independent verification, the phrase remains printed on all Pakistani currency notes.

A government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that every currency note design listed on the SBP website clearly includes the inscription.
The official also provided the relevant webpage showing detailed descriptions of each note’s design and security features.
