Islamabad, Oct 31: Faysal Bank Partners with Zaman Foundation to Provide Clean Drinking Water in Tharparkar. One of Pakistan’s top Islamic banks, Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), is honored to work with the Zaman Foundation to install a solar-powered reverse osmosis (R.O.) water filtration system that will provide the residents of Ramiyo Gajju with clean drinking water.
In addition to resolving the village’s 78-year battle for clean drinking water, this project gives the people more power by promoting healthier living conditions and increasing involvement in sustainable development.
Support from Faysal Bank for a cutting-edge solar-powered filtration plant is a prime example of sustainable development; it advances the Bank’s environmental stewardship and community welfare programs while providing communities with clean water that can change lives.
By lowering TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) levels to WHO-recommended levels, the new plant greatly enhances water quality and supports community health and environmental sustainability.
For more than 300 people in Ramiyo Gajju and beyond, this solar-powered water filtration facility is more than simply a project. it’s a lifeline. For these communities and future generations, we are still dedicated to creating a healthy future.
“Access to clean and safe drinking water is a basic human right, and this project marks a significant step in transforming the lives of villagers in Umerkot, Thar,” said Omar Zaman, CEO of the Zaman Foundation, in expressing his thanks.
The 3,500+ residents of Ramiyo Gajju and the neighboring villages no longer have to go kilometers in the sweltering desert heat and for tainted water thanks to our collaboration with Faysal Bank.
FBL sets the standard for responsible corporate citizenship in the banking industry by fusing environmental stewardship with community development, exemplifying its core principle of CARE for a healthy and sustainable future.
