Islamabad, Jan 31: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States and the Dutch police have jointly conducted an operation to shut down 39 websites and related servers in Pakistan that were selling tools for hacking and fraud.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI, this Pakistani network was run by Saeem Raza, also known as ‘Heart Sender.’ Documents collected by U.S. authorities indicate that Saeem Raza has been operating these cybercrime websites since at least 2020, where tools for fraud and hacking were being sold.

The U.S. Department of Justice reports that Raza’s network also sold these tools to international criminal groups, who used them to commit fraud in the U.S., leading to losses of at least $3 million. U.S. Attorney General Nicholas J. Gangi said, “Almost everyone has a friend or acquaintance affected by computer hacking.
These frauds targeted businesses and also affected individuals, causing them distress.”He further stated that while the network operated abroad, they were distributing these hacking tools via websites, and today, efforts have significantly reduced their ability to harm others.
